Proyecto Birana
The Birana Project was born in 2014 with the purpose of digitizing and analyzing a total of 15 Ethiopian manuscripts preserved by the Instituto Bíblico y Oriental (9 mss. from several different collections) in León (Spain) and 2 private Spanish collectors (Mario Lozano Alonso (5 mss.) and Javier Villayandre Bayón (1 ms.). The 2 Muslim manuscripts written in Arabic pertain to the private collectors.
