IES Harar

Collection of manuscripts from the region of Harar. They were acquired by the Institute of Ethiopian Studies of Addis Ababa, representing the oldest core of its Arabic collection. This set of manuscripts was then provided with new shelfmarks; in some cases the previous shelfmarks are still visible in small paper labels usually attached on the pastedowns.
