Biographic comments

Saint and amīr of Harar. He is connected to foundation of the city. He is said to have arrived with other saints from Ḥiǧaz to Harar in 1216 G and the local tribes appointed him šayḫ. He is mentioned in the list of the amīrs of Harar. His tomb is located inside the city walls. Abādir is also known and venerated outside Harar.
