Biographic comments

Born in an important Andalusi center of knowledge (Wādī Aš/ Currently Guadix, in Granada, Spain). Formed with Sufi masters, he entered the Zaydi sect (ši'í) and they named him Imām and ḫaṭīb. He was the author of a biographical dictionary of his masters that has not beeen preserved. He was killed at his home in Mecca.
