Biographic comments

In ms SSE0008, f. 135r he is said to be the successor (ḫalīfa) of Ǧamāl al-Dīn al-Annī (d. 1882) who introduced the Qādiriyya order amongst the Muslims of Rāyyā, northeastern Wallo. However, Bušrā al-Qutaytī is not mentioned by Trimingham whose list of successors of al-Annī stops at Šayḫ Miṣbāḥ (d. 1942): Bušrā could be the following, being thus a contemporary of Yūnus b. Sufyān, šayḫ of Suusse, owner and scribe of manusrcripts.
