Ṣūfī šayḫ who belonged to Qādirī ṭarīʼqa and he is credited for introducing the tārīqa to the Oromo. He was initiated into Sammānī tarīqa by Bušrā b. Ay Muḥammad. Al-Annī's original name was Arāsū but he adopted the name Muḥammad. He was active Annā in Rayya but was forced to flee from his home during the campaign of Emperor Yohannes IV in 1878-79 G. He settled in Korame (in Yaǧǧu), where he died.
